New Pathway June 2019

The new program requires:
- 1 year post secondary education
- job offer from employer
- CLB 5
- admissibility

As you can see, the new program has very low requirements which means many can qualify. I work in an immigration company here in Canada and as early as last year, we already have over 300 clients who qualifies and have already started working on procuring their documents. You have to be quick because CIC will only accept 5500 applications per year (2750 for nanny + 2750 for people with high medical needs). When the cap is met, the program will close and reopen again the following year. But i think it will get tougher every year because every year more and more people will be ready. So, be quick!

Considering the new pathway for caregiver as LMIA is no longer required, will this mean that it will no longer be a hindrance to offer employment to your immediate family member like siblings? Thanks!

As long as they're qualified. But there's also a question in the job offer form how the employer is related to the applicant.

what should i have to mention in employment letter and how much is minimum income requirment for 3 person family

My brother in canada has a 6 years child who is Autistic, will I be qualified if he employs me as a home support worker since I have all the experience and qualifications under this new caregiver -PR program announced June 18, 2019?

He should be able to.. the program did not mention about not hiring relatives. however, there is a question in the form asking about your relationship to the employer.. they could question the authenticity of the job offer based on this.

Guys I just want to ask if how many is the required hours for Caregiving training for Canada application. It should be 6 months full time right? Cause there are training centers here in UAE that offers 750hours but weekend classes, is that fine?

Can I ask if having an old Live in Caregiver Program (LCP)work permit for caregiver is qualified to apply the interim pathway for caregivers which is open for application until October 8, 2019? Is being new to Canada which has only less than a month experience as a inhome childcaregiver will be allowed to apply for the interim pathway? Thank you.

Yes you can.. as long as you meet the eligibility.. ex. Education, language

Thank you for the response. The information I had was confusing a bit, this is regards to interim pathways for caregiver. It mentioned at CIC that having an old LCP work permit is not qualified to apply interim pathway which is open for application until Oct 8,2019. Can you please help if someone could assess my qualification to apply, I just arrived and has in home caregiver work permit which has less than work experience as a caregiver as of the moment, education, language are not a problem for me. I am thinking to apply the interim pathway if I am qualified. Thank you again.
