New Passport with new Number

Hi guys,

My friend applied in Jan 2014, his passport expires on June 2015, He got a new one from his home country consulate, his new passport has a new passport number, his consulate says that the moment he gets new passport, the old passport is no longer valid, he applied under CEC with his passport, Please let me know what he should do next. Toby, Jes, and other experienced member please help.

Also any PCC obtainted earlier will have to get a new one wiht a new passport

He got no PCC request, he sent his home country PCC with the application, his Home country PCC is not associated with passport number, only his name. does he still need to send a PCC?
