New Passport while other visas are in the old passport

Hi guys,

My passport will be expiring on July and I'll be able to get my passport in a week. I figured that i should renew my passport before submitting my PR Application. Will this be a problem?Because my study permit and visa are in the old passport. Should attach my new passport in the Passport section and add the old passport into the LOE?

Attach your new passport, visas (from old passport) and permits in "passport" field. That should be sufficient.

If you want, you can also attach your complete old passport in LOE section, but would be bit redundant.

Hey, thanks for the reply. However, the passport number wouldn't match because it is a new passport. Or should I do what you suggested and put in the LOE?

You have to put the new Passport number in "Personal Detail" section, because that will be the, which will be valid one.

Your old passport will be expired, when you will be issued new one.

In LOE, you mention that you have uploaded the new passport in "Passport" field, while complete old passport is in LOE, for reference only.
