I hope you landed by this time. Did you send your new passport only once you received 'ready for visa' OR old passport as well?

I just spoke with customer care agent and they confirmed that just sending new passport is enough. No need to send invalid/expired passports to CIC.

Unfortunately, I have not yet received the most wanted email "Ready for Visa".
I had to renew my passport as it was about to expire.

I sent my new info to the email indicated by you. Thank you!
