New passport - how to submit it to CIC?

I’m a PR paper inland applicant (Sydney, NS) from September 2017. I have a new passport - how to submit it to CIC? Do I have to send a paper copy by mail or electronic copy by GC key account?

Hello,

I was PR paper inland applicant and updated my passport as it was expiring soon.

I did what Rundle says

Ashuindian advice is not true. You will not be able to update documents unless CIC asks.
