There is a new Minister of CIC: Chris Alexander. He is the MP of Ajax-Pickering area, East of Toronto.

Chris Alexander worked for 18 years as a member of the Canadian Foreign Services. His first posting was at the Canadian Embassy in Russia, and by 2003, he became Canada's first resident Ambassador in Kabul, Afghanistan. Between 2005 and 2009, he served as a Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan."

Jason Kenney has moved on to Minister for Employment & Social Development. During his time at CIC, "Canada admitted 1.2 million permanent residents, including 115,000 refugees, & granted citizenship to 700,000 new CDNs"
