I may be totally wrong but just thinking loud :

Because there's a mass trigger of such "update" related messages I guess CIC is updating some process or process steps at backend. A reliable source told me that they are constantly receiving feedback on anomalies and updating their process which is a good thing. And I can imagine that either through a workflow or a batch job all live applicants/profiles are being sent such message even though you guys might not have made any change, neither has there been a change in your profile. So, you can either call CIC to clarify or if there's no change in your profile neither has your score changed may be just chill out.

I got the same message as well. But no change on my status/scores...

Hi,

What is the meaning of Job Bank Registration: Accepted. Actually I got same message yesterday, but I can't remember whether previously my Job Bank Registration was activated or not? BTW, my ITA Status: No invitation at this time.

If we observe in terms of how this system works, on an average a lot of users are probably creating new profiles , maybe becoming ineligible due to some genuine issues or something missing or error. Some may be registering on Job Bank, some may be updating their profile questions etc.
So in all the system looks for any updates to all the users profiles and just tries to update the CIC database on a regular basis.
There might be a bug that sends emails to users even if nothing is updated in their profiles or maybe just to check what all users are logging in to their systems to view their status regularly.

These are automated email which get triggered and pushed on even a tiniest events taking place on the CIC servers.. Possible reasons.

1. Clocks were re-adjusted to the new time.. I think daylight savings or something similar
2. Maybe the Database is updated.. CIC purges invalid entries in the database.. Purging or updating all those who have received ITA or are inelegible due to faulty scores or something of this sort..
3. Someone is poking around your profile. maybe a CIC officer..
4. Maybe your files are pushed onto the server.. earlier they might be on a staging area.. like hold area.. now they are being pushed into the system..
5. or it is a glitch.. who knows..

these are possible outcomes I can think off.. keep your eyes pealed.. and scan your entire profile..just in case if there might be a change..

especially that people are forgetting the upcoming draws will be made on CRS scores BELOW 600 the countdown is near for an ITA thats in my opinion !

This will ensure that fraud profiles can be discarded.

Even the applicants who have given the ECA# or IELTS certificate# incorrectly got their profiles as ineligible.

This will help CIC streamline the process before any more ITA's can be issued.
