I received my biometric correspondence letter last thursday after completing my medical exams(not upfront) its been 6 days now......what decision can i expect?
Some people get results 1 or 2days after biometric letter

My session starts in januray is this the reason they are delaying my results?
Many ppl are telling me that getting medical call is 99 percent chance for visa? I am just so tensed now

And some of them got their results after a few minutes or hours... it depends on the officer who is reviewing your application, and you can't except anything...

For paper application, do you get the refusal by email or by mail? This application was sent to New York.

Hi everyone,

My aunt applied for the Canadian visa on Sept.10,2019 for coming to Canada for her mother's funeral.

My grandmother passed away on Sept.4,2019.

We waited for two weeks after handing in the application, received the letter of biometric approval and on Sept.20, my aunt received the refusal letter.

We provided everything we can in the first application including proof of property, vehicle,marriage certificate ,death certificate, etc.

But refusal reason stated that the officer was not satisfied that my aunt will leave Canada at the end of her stay:
1. because of her refusal history
2. because of her family ties in Canada & her country of residence
3. Purpose of her visit

We are very hopeless and lost right now and we have no idea what to do now.

Does anybody encountered the same situation as we did? Please advise us what to do

My wife received her Biometrics correspondence letter today, after 5 hours another mail came in saying her application was approved for an open work permit. So please don't lose hope when you get this correspondence letter. It may also be approved

Hi,

I have applied my study permit on sep 11th-offline Non SDS. I have linked my application on sep 13. Here is my time line.
Bangalore VAC received my application on sep 13th. Medical passed (upfront) and biometry number, expiry dates updated on the same day(sep 13).
Review of eligibility (from sep 13th onwards) : we are reviewing your eligibility.
Background check up : we are processing your background check.
Final decision: your application is in progress.

I have not received any correspondence letter regarding biometry or medical from them.

When will I get decision? Please help me.

Hi,
This application is for my brother.

He had applied first time in August 29,2019 with work permit application and positive LMIA but the application got refused on Sep 20,2019 stating that you were not able to demonstrate that you are capable of working ….". That time they didn't check medical but received biometric notification the same time when got refusal letter.
A week later, re-applied with more detailed info and testmonials and couple of pictures of him while working and applied on Sep 29,2019. His medical was updated on 2nd October ( Passed - which they didn't check earlier-- I believe) and today (10/18/2019 - around 3:30 PM) we got a biometric notification with validity of that for next 10 years). What are the audience views on that.

What is next step? Anyone same condition please reply and how many days it will be take final decision

I have applied for TRV and got approved in five days, i applied on paper application, my timeline is like this:-

Application submitted on 06 November
bio metric same day
received bio metric confirmation email on 11 November
received stamped visa on 12 November

for my surprise its very very quick, when i received the confirmation email of Bio metric on 11 November, i searched this forum here i found 90% people rejected after this kinda quick response from embassy, i thought i will be also in the same boat, but when i opened the envelope, the TRV was approved, here i tell you some tips which was different in my case
1. i have not received the rejection/approval email, if you not received the rejection email after bio metric confirmation email then 90% chances of visa approval.
2. if you received SMS or email like your processed passport has been sent via courier with tracking id ***** then 90% chances of visa approval, if they use word "courier"
3. at the courier office see the back of your passport before opening if you see a sticker with the same tracking ID, then its approved otherwise rejected.

these are only guess as per my experiences on paper application.

I mean to say the first time i applied i didnt get this letter but rather a refusal. This is my second application and i havent gotten an approval letter or rejection letter but this was the content of the letter which i got today

I know someone who got visa approval after receiving this letter and even know someone who got refusal after receiving this biometric letter. So this letter doesn't confirm visa approval or rejection but gives an idea that you will get decision with next 1-2 days and only then you will be able to know the final visa decision.

BTW, I hope your one was positive result.

please my own case is different, have received that message for a week now, have not gotten any decision, please advise..
