you better prove na hindi kayo live-in for more than 12 months and common-law does not apply to you. make sure you emphasize that living in the same address sa taiwan does not mean na you were in the relationship for all that time. and if you were, say that you do not sleep in the same room or the same bed. you were merely apartment-mates/roommates/flat-mates with other people that are working there.

if you do that, you will be alright. if you cannot prove that you WERE NOT in a common-law relationship, your PR will be revoked due to misrepresentation and will incur a time ban.

3-5 days daw po, si hubby ko nagsubmit siya Jan.3, kahapon lang nag update ung gckey namin lumabas na ung visa # pero wala pang text na dispatch na.

Spouse medical exam complete 10/2/17
CIC MANILA confirmed "medical exam received" 10/3/17

Hi, we have the same exact timeline, the only difference is I was not requested additional documents like the advisory of Marriage from PSA (I have already included those on when we submitted the application primarily).
Still does not having any updates after the medical..

Ung ppr letter copy paste ko siya sa word doc, tapos dun na din ako nag type ng info namin sa Appendix B. Tapos siya na lang print dun sa pinas hehe pumirma na lang

645 binayaran niya te, drop off and pick up siya eh. Wala naman masyadong tip, pero based sa majority experience ng nagpapasa sa vfs eh super strict sila sa picture, so ung fujifilm sa alphaland nirerecommend nila na pag picturan. 10AM open ng alphaland, kapag maka picture kaagad eh pababalikin ng 12 para iclaim ung picture. Tapos until 3pm lang pwede mag submit.

It's weird the Mississauga CIC didn't request it and rather the Canadian Embassy in Manila did. It was uploaded to CIC account a week after they requested it. So far everything very quiet. They haven't started background check yet and everything except the medical exam, not needing fingerprints, or interview shows "in progress"
