That's true. Surprisingly In our case, it only took us three months, including assessment of the sponsor up until issuance of visa. We didn't hire lawyer, we also don't have special case , it's pure luck

only 3 months? wow, congratulations, fastest I ever heard. Can I ask if you sent a big package, lots of photos and evidence and was this outland?

It's been a while since nagupdate ako dto sa forum. We're so blessed finally we spent our new year together. My wife landed here in canada last month, Dec 31 to be exact. I just want to share our experience. The whole process was smooth, the immigration officer assigned to her in vancouver was so nice, full of enthusiasm and you'll not get intimidated lol it only took us 10-15mins. The officer didn't ask question to her that much and we don't why haha Then that's it. Anyway, We again want to thank this forum, it was a big help. Until now di kami makapniwala na in less than four months of waiting, natapos din. if you can see our timeline, august applicant kami then dec nakuha ko na sya. Sobrang Thankful kami. Sa mga ibang applicants na naghihintay pa rin, you're doing well, don't lose hope you'll never know tomorrow or the next day andyan na ang hnhntay nyo.lahat tayo pinagdaan at pinagdadaanan yan. Is there anyone waiting longer than us now from the Manila VO? We are Feb 03, 2016 applicant. Almost at our 1 year mark. Everything is passed on GCMS (criminality, security, and eligability PASSED) but they seem to have lost our newest medical that we finished and uploaded via nationwide Dec 03, 2016 or they just arn't processing it and put the file in limbo. Any clue if we should get a lawyer now...or what happens once we are allowed to call the CiC at our 1 year mark in like 25 days from now?

I am sure there are still a batch of people from 2015 still waiting to hear from Manila VO. My spouse's application, for example, is finally in the process of being finalized. The application was received in June 2015, and it was only a couple of days ago that the application was changed to decision made, and the PPR e-mail was received. There have been numerous, needless delays, but there was a point her medical exams expired and were needed to be taken again. I assume Manila VO's request for my wife's new medicals added to our waiting time.
