On the letter or email that you received, did it mention Sponsor's BC or it says "if applicable"? There was one member here who posted a copy of the email they received and if I remember it right, it said BC of "Sponsored and Sponsor (if applicable)". My understanding of "applicable" is that if the Sponsor is already a citizen, there's no need to send the BC. But for PR, that I am not sure. Let's wait na lang for others, esp PR sponsors if they still had to send their BC. Anyone please?

4. Identity and Civil Documents

a. For Philippine citizens:

Ø PSA (Philippine Statistics Authority) Birth Certificate for yourself, your sponsor and all dependent children. (IF BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS LATE-REGISTERED, you MUST also submit baptismal certificate and other documents establishing identity such as old school records, voter’s ID, etc)

Need help asap!

Sa June 1 nag message po ang MVO ng
"You must submit the following information/documents ONLY IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY SUBMITTED THEM WITH YOUR APPLCATION:"

Hindi po kame nagsubmit kase we thought we submitted everything already. But then one doc na need nila is birth cetificate of the sponsor(ako. PR lang po ako). I can't quite remember kung nalagay namin yung birth certificate ko nun. What should we do now? :,( more than 30 days na po nakalipas since they emailed e. Is there any way we can call them? Is the birth certificate of the PR sponsor a big deal? Do we have to submit my birth certificate? Wala kase sya sa document checklist nun. PR card ang na-photocopy. Are we super delayed at this point now?

Same thing happened to us. Late na din namin nakita email nila pero sinubmit pa din namin kailangan isubmit. Better late than never. pag di mo naman nasubmit before deadline, may possibility lang na medyo tumagal processing ng papers. Who knows what happens pag di nyo nasubmit at all...

Yeahhh... I totally understand. At ilang beses ko talaga binasa yung checklist kung requirement ba yung BC ng sponsor before kami nagpasa pero 100% sure ako na wala kaya di ko na din siya nilagay. Pero isubmit mo na rin siguro ngayon para sure.

same situation po nkareceive dn ako email ng email n gnyan.. pano po gnawa nyo? how about yung PSA Advisory on Marriages and if applicable, your sponsor..do we need po ba na dalawa kmi na mgsasusubmit ng AOM, nagsubmit na po kami nun ako yung nagapply(i'm the sponsored person). yung sponsor din po ba magAaply pa? or enough na yung isang AOM? than you po

Our's was nbi at birth certificate ng baby ko pero send lng through email namin last june. After nmin esend via email wala nman na follow up na sa CEM if required nila ng original copy.Im not pretty sure kung pwede ang nbi certificate na email lng so my hubby sent it 2 days ago to the CEM para sure. It might cause delay, you think so sis?TIA

Di ko lng po sure kung mag delay.
Ung samin po kasi nung hndi ng update agad ung medical ng hubby ko sa cic,mg inquire po ako sa kanila.
Almost 2 months din po yata na walng update so ng inquire po ako,ng reply namn po sila pero sinabi po na wag na po mg email unless my changes about sa personal info.
