Just received an email now from CEM sent to my wife acknowledging that they received her application for PR yesterday. Any idea what I should expect next?

oh nice. I never got the AOR2 from Manila VO. But I got the request for Appendix A and more immigration photos from them after the SA.

Does the Appendix A request come first before PPR? I already submitted one set of completed Appendix A requirements along with the initial forms.

Also my wife hasn't completed her vaccines, she will by end of this week. Will CEM not proceed with the processing until she completes the vaccines?

I need help, I obtained my Qatar police clearance last year and it has expired on April 2015, Question: Can I still submit the said police clearance?
as per CIC
''For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply.

For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country.

I have applied for a new police clearance in Qatar but they said that it would probably released in 6mos.

As far as I know, Appendix A comes first and then PPR for CEM. I'm currently in the US so I followed the US checklist for our application and it didn't have Appendix A so maybe that's why they requested it from me?

For Sposorship: "In process"

For Permanent Residence: "Medical Results Received" also confirmed that Application is already in CEM Oct 19. Confirmed via email sent by Manila Immigration Office

Oh that looks the same as mine. Even though we already have SA, it still says "in process" for the sponsorship part

I dont think you'll have a problem with the vaccines. As far as I know, what they look for in the medicals are communicable diseases that'll affect the general population (HIV, TB, etc).

If you're still living in Qatar, yes you'll need to get a new one and CIC has to receive the certificate no more than 6 months after it was issued.

If you no longer live in Qatar, I think as long as the police certificate was issued *after* you left, it is still valid. At least that's how I understood that.
