Hi everyone, just want to ask lang po if makakadelay po ba ng processing ang pagchange ng mailing address, kasi before nag in process yung status ko I asked Manila embassy (thru online enquiry) to change my mailing address. I check the request letter for ppr nachange na nila yung mailing address Ko, pero sa Ecas hindi pa nachange.

This is my first time to ask here about my status when it comes to sponsorship.. My husband is from Quebec Montreal and after we get married last year we decide to sty here for a while... And now we start already to get all the documents that we needed for sponsoring.. Nag try ako Tumawag sa VFS sabi Nila pag nag papasa ng documents for sponsoring sa mismong embassy na at no need na ng agency..yung family ng husband ko may business sa canada and he's working also there from his dad's company.. Pero sabi sa letter ng company Nila na gina- guarantee Nila na pag nakabalik ba yung husband ko Babalik na ulit sya sa work and nakalagay dun magkano sinasahod .. May question is Pwede ba talaga dito mag process si hubby ng sponsorship Habang nasa pilipinas kami ? At how long po ung pag process? Sobrang Tagal po ba talaga?? Thank you!! God blessed everyone!

from my experience sis mga 21 days yours could be shorter but dont worry cic doesnt take that long. timeline mo po?

Application sent out July 8, 2015
Application received July 10, 2015.
AOR last August 11, 2015.
Hoping for SA soon.

If your app received and AOR is about a month, then expect another month for SA based on the current processing time of 60 days as posted in CIC site. One month is not guaranteed though it could be more if CIC will do some second review or ask for social status from ypur province as the case of some 2015 applicants esp.some May applicants

Thanks for your reply toffboss. I see, an tagal pa 1 month. I changed my social status already for my taxes at Canadian Revenue Agency. My travel agent is aware that my husband is coming and is on standby for travel booking whenever my husband gets his visa. He already has a job waiting for him that he can pick and choose from, as I have secured that. And I am just waiting for him before I buy a house. Because I really can't decide without him looking at it. Hopefully he gets here before Christmas, he has never been in Canada and I've been going back to PH every 5 months just to see him. I'm too excited about everything that waiting everyday seems to be too painful.

hi Shyder29, OFW inaplayan ko dati, halos pareho lang ng immigrants. okay naman, d naman mahirap pagdating ng Vancouver ask ka lang kung ano purpose, address ng titirhan. kaya po isulat nyo po sa isang maliit na papel yung address and phone na titirhan nyo para po madali din pag fill-up ng form.

yun nga pala sabihin ko, medyi mahaba pila sa immigration... pero wag kayong mag-alala na d nyo mahabol yung connecting flight nyo kase ibook naman kago ng immigration sa next flight... kase kaka stress mag-isip na malate ka sa susunod na flight hehehe.

isa pa pala, kuha kayo ng birth certificate sa NSO kase baka kailanganin nyo in time.

Itago nyo yung papers na ibibigay sa inyo ng immigration pag okay na kayo, kase nandun instructions kung ano gagawin nyo pag dito na kayo sa Canada. Like kukuha ng Social Insurance Number, Health Card and studies ng mga bata... proud ako mataas standard ng aral sa atin... daming tumatalon ng 1 to 2 years pagdating dito. (tumatanggap po dito ng late enrollees)

Start ng winter mga darating ng last week ng October... magbaon na ng medyas hehehe... kung magbaon po ng pantulog yung pranela po bilhin nyo maganda pang winter... saka makapal na stockings and thights... sa lalaki po merong may fleece line jeans po naman dito.. Sa fall po kayo bumili para mura pa hehehe...

Dala po kayo ng vitamin C para po di sakitin sa darating ng winter...

Wag po kalimutang magpray at sumagot sa tanong ng mga nagtatanong dito hehehe... GOD Bless Us All po.

Hello po nalaman ko po na andun na sa manila visa office application namin dahil po sa senend na letter po sa hubby ko ung sponsor ko po ung letter po na un eh Sponsorship approval though ilang days bago namin nareceive.. Then after one week po nakareceive po kami both ng email ang title niya Aor pero nung binuksan namin nagrerequest po ng passport po...at nakaindicate din po sa email kung kelan nila nareceive dto sa manila ung application..

If I live outside Canada, may I sponsor?

If you are a Canadian citizen, you may sponsor a spouse, a common-law partner or conjugal partner, or a dependent child who has no children of his or her own. However, you must demonstrate that you will live in Canada when the sponsored person becomes a permanent resident. - got this from this link:

Sponsorship approval usually takes more or less 60 days and pag naforward na dito accdg sa processing times ng manila it will take an average of 16months( which of course can be shorter or longer depending on the completeness of your application). I am not well aware of "shorcuts" na pwedeng sa manila na derecho. I suggest you start filling up the forms in the website and gather proofs before yung "appointment" nyo sa manila embassy.
