Still havent heard anything and still waiting for PPR

But it was just the holidays, they do have office hours and take time off as well so im trying to be patient!

hopefully the gov't follows through with the faster process and more people coming in like they promised!!

Tanong ko lang po regarding the PERSONAL DETAILS section of IMM0008. In Box 3, humihingi po ng UCI #. May nakita akong posts sa forum giving mixed reviews on this.

Nag'apply kami ng Visitor Visa back in 2014 and it got rejected, will providing the UCI # make a different? Also, if we provide the UCI #, do we need to explain that we applied for the Visitors Visa back in 2014? It does not ask for the explanation so was curious.

As far as I know, you are only issued One UCI #. If you do have one, then you should use it.

are you using the old forms still? Kasi may question sa isa sa mga forms if na-deny ang Principal Applicant ng any kind of visa.

Ours took about 10 months to get it all done. I get a lot of distractions kasi But we are now on a waiting game as we finally submitted the app on the 19th of December

We started ours last August 2016 before the wedding until now it is not done yet. My husband advised me to used this forum on asking questions, pero naunahan ako sa takot. If I just listened right away, i maybe not going to review all over again the forms. Saves time. oh well..

Hopefully I could get it done before our NSO Marriage Cert will arrive so i can send it to my partner one at a time.

When did you get married? You could have requested an advance endorsement of your MC. Doing so, you should have a PSA copy of your MC in less than 2 months from the date of your wedding.

P.S.

Once you have PSA copy of MC, pwede ka na din mag request ng AOM or Advisory on Marriages. Ako kasi I sent both na para sure na meron na lahat. Whether they need it or not. Yung iba kasi na may PSA MC, hinahanapan pa ng AOM. Yung iba naman hindi na because they also sent their CENOMAR. Ako lahat sinend ko That is why I am hopeful na sana wala ng hingin pa na additional documents later on.

You should ask for an endorsement letter from where the MC is registered para ma-expedite ang PSA copy ng MC. Pag wala kasing endorsement, you will have to wait 4-6 months if you were married in Metro Manila (a bit longer if outside MM) bago pa maging available sa system ng PSA ang MC nyo. Bale yung copy ng Endorsement Letter and receipt ang dadalhin mo sa main office ng PSA para maka-request ka ng MC nyo. In less than 2 weeks from date of request, may PSA copy ka na ng MC. Si PSA din ang magbigay ng date kung kelan mo pwede ma-pickup.

AOM is the counterpart of CENOMAR. If you request CENOMAR and your MC is already available in PSA's system, you will be issued AOM instead of CENOMAR
