hello po..i just want to ask:
wala pa po kc ung PR Card nya, kung kkuha po ba xa ng travel document, mga ilang araw po nya mkkuha?
tska wla po bang kaso kung uuwi xa d2 kht 2 or 3 months plng nya sa Canada?
Hi anne10,
Not sure about the answer to your first question. About your 2nd question, your BF or partner would have a better feel about it. That is part of the briefing when I attended GCP from CFO earlier this year. For sure naman na dumaan din sya sa CFO (hindi pwedeng hindi
). As we were told by the consul officer, every individual who were sponsored and/or applied PR on their own, eh hindi biro ang pinagdaanan. So once a PR is granted, ingatan dapat and prove na karadapat-dapat talaga sa kanya yun. If he's only been in Canada for few months and already planning of coming back to Philippines, kahit pa short visit, my personal advice is to be careful pa din. Just a reminder lang din that a PR is required to have a total of 730 days of physical presence for every 5-year period to comply with his residency obligation. I know it will be very disappointing to both of you, lalo na siguro sayo. It would be best talaga to wait na lang muna siguro after 2 years (the equivalent of 730 days).
If the time he was still here and you were both living together, baka pwede kayo under ng common-law partner for sponsorship. I'm not sure ha, di kasi ako familiar masyado about the common-law partner. May mga members naman dito na under that category na pwede magbigay ng advice about it.
