Yup that's correct. I have a Canadian Passport and they only asked for the PA's AOM.
My wife got the email so I don't know if it was CPC or MVO who requested the meds and AOM, but I've asked her to forward me the email and will update when I get it.

My wife sent me both emails she received and both didn't have any initials for the VO.

In the subject line for both all it said was:
You have a new message in your account for application: **********

The body of the email was:

Hello, meron ako nakausap sa whatsapp group! Medyo narelieved ung worries ko and naiintindihan ko na nangyayari. So apr.4th sinend nia ung sched a and pcc niya, then after few days naka received siya ng email na tulad ng sa atin na outside of canada na ung app. Then after nun wala na siya nareceived ulit so tumawag daw siya 2weeks ago, then sabi nung agent hindi pa daw nila na attached ung sched a and pcc sa files niya pero naconfirmed na sa kanya na nasa vienna visa office na ung app niya. I think same thing nangyayari sa atin, nasa manila visa office na ung files natin pero hindi pa na attached nung time na trinansfer sa mvo ung sched a and pcc or kaka attached pa lang. hope it helps ung iba na waiting for answer kung ano nangyayari sa files

Behind daw sila ng mga 1 month dahil daw sa dami ng nagsend sa ircc. So we'll wait, basta naka received tayo na outside canada na ung app then we'll just believe on it na langs! Later, pag may additional docs pa tayo ehh may marereceived din tayo, pag waley ehh ppr na us sana sana talaga

Hindi ko alam kung nagchange @vhine kac mas nauna ko nacheck ung email at un nga nakatanggap ako ng Ppr letter tapos sa sobrang excited ko I tried to check my cic nagkamai mali paglagay ko ng password kaya ayun ung cic acct cant used for 24 hours hahaha

But anyways, last time na check ko ung cic ko hindi sia nagchange sa background check. Check ko ulit mamaya pag maopen ko ung gckey ko kung nagchange nga ba. At ung ecas ko decision made na rn.

Depende talaga sa VO, Kung Gaano ka bilis ang process ng application... Mabilis ang VO mo...
Ako eh, March 16 pa may additional docs at AOM Lang...
Sana nextweek PPR Na... Halos 1 1/2 months Ko Na naipasa additional docs Ko

Darating din yan sis basta always pray lang tlga. As long as nareceive nila ung add docs mo for sure Ppr na yan

Yes it will. Sana soon din , at least nakabawas ng worriness na ganun pala ginawa nila this time. Tama din naman, kasi kung itatambak lang nila sa mississauga lahat ng apps until isa isa nilang ma-attached ung sched a then baka mawalan sila ng working space dun heheh. Basta importante nasa manila na ung app, and sila na bahala dun. iPPR na lang muna nila ung mga mas matagal ng naghihintay

Ok naman kaka send lang ulit namen ng app siguro by monday nasa cic na. Oo nga eh nakakatrauma yung pag nabalik yung application.lol. pero mabilis na yan!
