Many are saying that because of deferral, this may make the VO think if the applicant is a generic student. But these are only opinions, so I’m just saying “maybe”.

Because why would you defer if your studies is completely online and you received AIP? Also makes no sense of deferral. This make the VO think that your purpose in canada is to immigrate and not to study.

lol deferal isnt illegal. VO isnt Sherlock Holmes trying to see through your actions. If its legal, and part of process, it shouldnt cause an issue.

Ok if that’s your opinion. Don’t cry if you receive a refusal. It’s better to continue than to defer if you especially have a weak profile.
