Hi

I'm a Software Architect and I've applied on Sep, 16 2008 through Canadian High Commission in Malaysia. I'm Iranian who has lived and worked in Malaysia for four years. I've got two questions:

- I could see that 0213 (Computer and IT managers) was in the published list of the eligible professionals under the new law. I looked for 0213 in the NOC list. There is a section in there called "Classified elsewhere" in which I could find the job title I applied for (2173). Does it mean I'm still eligible? What does the "Classified elsewhere" exactly mean?
- I've not received any acknowledgment letter yet. How long usually does it take to receive the letter?

Thanks.

Unfortunately classified elsewhere means another class of jobs which is not belong to the group of 0213.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Classified elsewhere means related jobs with a different NOC code. Only the NOC codes on the list are qualified. Related jobs are not.
