New job HELP!

Hi

I am working in an IT company in India and I got a new job and doing it from past 4 months but i got another new job offer with same designation . Will I get full 1 year point if i do 4 month at one company and 8 months in another company at same designation ? pleaseeeeeeeeee help

If this is the first job of your primary NOC, then Unfortunately, the answer is no.

Actually, "continuous" doesn't necessarily mean working for the same company.
If there is no gap between the 2 jobs, it should be alright.

Hi cecfile,

My understanding is that, For Skilled work experience, your work experience must be:

1. At least one year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous full-time or an equal amount in part-time,
2. Paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships do not count),
3. In the same job,
4. within the last 10 years, and
5. At skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC).

So you need to be working continuously in the same job designation. So once the NOC description doesn't change you should be fine. You would need more than 4 months though. So at this time you wouldn't be qualified until you get to 12 months continuous experience in your designation.

Switching into a different company should be fine as long as its the same NOC that you plan to use for express entry.

Senior members or persons with similar experience please advise.

Yes, I am keeping same NOC and only changing company with no GAP between first and second job.

Conclusion:- I will get 1 year points only if I complete complete 1 year with same NOC. Switching company does not matter as long as my NOC remain same right ?

Switching company's shouldn't matter. Just get one year continuous experience within your designation. As long as the NOC remains the same.
