Hi,

I am looking to apply for permanent residency through IRCC program. I initially started my application in Nov 2019. Between that time and before getting my ITA, I got married. Due to that, COVID and other personal reasons, my wife and I had to abandon this idea. We're currently trying to do it all again but with her as the primary applicant and me, as the accompanying spouse. I have created a new account for my wife and started filling out our details (I chose my wife as primary applicant because she has better work experience and under the same field).

I would like to know if it's okay for me to be an accompanying spouse in her application when I've previously gotten an ITA (and let it expire due to COVID) with my own application. Plainly speaking, is it allowed? Will this cause any problem in the future?

Thanks in advance. :)

It has no effect whatsoever.
