New Instructions from IRCC for applications before 7th Sep 2021

We got our PPR request today for MIL's application.
Question - which office in India to send the Passport for visa stamp

Here are our timelines...we were sitting on the fence for a long time on whether we should reapply....based on our experience, go for it.

First Application (GC Key)
Applied: Jun 2021
Biometric completed: Aug 2, 2021

Second application (IRCC)
Applied Dec 5, 2021
Passport request: Dec 10, 2021

For Ties to home country - her property ownership documents, pension documents, bank statements. And her extended family that is part of her regular life, which is hard to replicate here in Canada.

IRCC Portal? Some people are getting PPRs within a week after applying on IRCC portal and some are waiting since 2 months.
Really unfortunate.

Yes, IRCC portal.. Yes, I don't have any concern for people getting visa, but they should follow some order or algorithm in picking files to give importance for applicants applied first.

Cannot agree more. I was under the impression that Ottawa office processes all the IRCC applications but I spoke to customer care and they mentioned my application is being processed in New Delhi. No clear pattern.
