New Instructions from IRCC for applications before 7th Sep 2021

Hi Prasanna,
Do you know what it shows under biometrics section on second application? Although biometrics details are showing up on the top in summary but still biometrics section is not showing up complete.
Could that be reason of delay?

Not necessarily, as some people who received PPRs were frustrated till the last moment with no update whatsoever.

Yes they usually change but sometimes you need to check your account regularly because they may not email you about the change and you have to find it yourself.

Even if it is we cannot make the horse to drink. I believe we took it to the water with our detailed application and web forms

If it says we do not need your fingerprints and your biometrics number is there in the top it means it’s updated.

Under proof of relationship- Is it necessary to submit birth certificate? Or just passport biometrics page stating parents name is sufficient? Asking for TRV application

I re-applied on 25Oct2021 in new portal , GC application was 25Mar2021.. Either have no update....But i need to wait for 30 days to see if any update in IRCC portal...

try contacting your local MP. they will contact immigration to follow up on your case . i know they do follow up.

I applied for my parents visitor visa in June 2021
they got there biometerics on Sep 7th (India VFS was closed that was earliest date)

Applied thru Gckey - June 2021
Biometerics - completed Sept 8 2021
backgroud - in progress
no information since then, Application is in New delhi office.

I emailed My MP and they confirmed from IRCC that

• The criminality verifications have passed.

but there is no update on file. I have raised several web form etc. Not sure reapplying will even help as New delhi is itself slow.
I am due in January so concerned. Anyone latest got visa from new delhi with new portal ?

TRV for my mum got refused today.
1st GC Key application: 27th April 2021
Never received any update on that.

2nd Portal application: 23rd September 2021.
Refusal letter, and Biometrics Validity Letter: 8th November 2021.
Planning to apply for a Supervisa in a couple of months as I am new as a PR.

Yes I did . I had applied in June 2019 via gckey , no update on it so far.

Then reapplied via portal in Sept 2019. Got PPR in October (took 30 business days)

I would most definitely ask you to reapply. My parents file was also in new delhi.
