Hi.. anyone from US for Visit Visa applied through GC key before 7th Sep and got PPR?
I Applied on 3rd Sep, gave biometrics 23rd Sep and my application is under eligibility review since more than 2 weeks now. I want to travel in the last week of Nov.. just confused whether I should wait for a decision or apply again using the IRCC portal?

Good to see the spouse of a PR getting visit visa approval...Congrats!
I applied on the same date for my spouse's visitor visa as an immediate family who is currently living in India. I hope they process the application fast!

I'm Canadian PR, planning to apply visitor visa for my spouse in India. Which portal should i use to submit the application (GC Key or IRCC). i'm bit confused with lot of changes recently. we didn't submit any application, this will be our first application. IRCC Portal. I have applied from GCKey for a visitor visa from US since Sep 3, gave biometrics and eligiblity review in process but no decision so far. While people are literally getting decisions within 4, 5 days on the IRCC Portal.
Processing times are just estimates. You are within typical processing times so you’ll just have to be patient. For some countries background checks can take longer.
Yeah I understand that. However my background check has been in process since a long time while eligibility review started more than 2 weeks ago. JBTW, normal Processing time from US has already been completed so I doubt I am within typical Processing times.
whend did you submit visa from usa? I am in the same boat, eligibility review started 2 weeks ago- No response
