New Instructions from IRCC for applications before 7th Sep 2021

Hi everyone, I am a bit confused and frustrated.
In February 2021, My spouse applied for a visitor visa with choosing Covid-19 exemption on the form. But the exemption was rejected in 14 days. And we were told that visa application will be processed when travel restrictions are over. Since then we have never got any updates.
- We sent a web form to get a travel exemption for the reason of family reunification. But no response for months
- I got my post graduate work permit (PGWP) last month.
- I sent an email to the visa office explaining the changes to my permit and still no response.
- Now I am thinking to re apply for a visitor visa for my spouse with my new work permit information.

Do you think should we reapply or keep waiting for a response for the present application?

I got 2 messages in email, then logged in to account. I noticed change in eligibility and a message subject with passport request.

Infact he got it on 30th business day. In portal. Not sure any other portal applicant waiting for more than 30 business days

I applied TRV for my parents on GcKey on September 15. They did biometrics on October 27th and I just received an "we are still working on your application" email. I am trying to login into gckey but seems like the server is down?

services are down from yesterday, now even IRCC IT folks started taking it easy

1st application: GC Key -> June 22nd, Bio: July 6th
2nd application: Portal -> Sep 19th
3rd application: GC Key -> Oct 6th

IRCC is making some illegal monies!!!
