Thanks a lot for your detailed message about the process. I followed you and created the webform and I got the PPR for my parents within 3 days. I was under confusion if I will create a new application after September 7th but your answer helped me.
Application Date: 17th March 2021
Biometrics Date: 30th Sep 2021
Date Webform sent: 12th Oct 2021 (Got default acknowledgment same day)
Got Passport Request on: 15th Oct 2021

While i submitted the webform for an exemption(this should be the 4th time now i think) using thesame link recently, the major content of their feedback which i got was to submit another application. my original application has been on since April 9. Part of their reply was:
While we are unable to provide an update on the processing of your visitor visa application, please note that if you applied before September 7, 2021 and need to travel to Canada now for one of the following reasons, we recommend that you submit a new application through the IRCC portal. If you require written authorization, your request will be processed as part of your new visa application.

Can you please confirm if you applied on Sep 13 through GCKey website or through the new IRCC Portal? Also, which country are your parents from?

My timeline is :
1 application:August 4th 2021
Biometrics completed : September 3rd 2021
Crisis webform on September 12th 2021 for first application (After receiving AOR for spouse visa, raised webform to submit the details)
2nd application: September 14th 2021 via portal(after sep7 update)
Crisis webform on September 28th 2021 for second application to update the fully vaccinated status.

Got automated reply for both webforms,no other progress yet.
@sshivam29 : Do you think its a good idea to raise webform again, with updated travel dates.

No, got BVL.In 10 minutes got PPR.Thats it

Update!!! I submitted a Spouse Open Work Permit for my husband in June, no update at all, then I decided to apply for a visit visa just to attend my graduation. I applied for the visit visa on the new portal on September 9. I received BVL on the Spouse Open Work Permit Application some minutes ago. Apparently, IRCC didn’t process the visit visa, the spouse visa was processed. Waiting for the final decision email.
