When do we get the Bio metric request after submitting the application? I have submitted the application on Oct 4th for my parents but so far haven't received any Bio request letter.

I submitted new application on new portal on October 3 after sending webforms on previous application submitted on December 2020. They never replied to my webform.

Biometrics have already been completed, but they are not reflecting in the new application. How much time it takes to get approval?

So late they opened. Thats bad. They need to prioritize . I can understand your situation.I feel some other update they did. Mostly i heard that GC key reflects after 24 hours when we see such application updates. Lets wait until tomorrow.

I checked my mom's application today. We re-applied. As I refreshed gckey website, I saw that her first application says "application/profile updated." While the second application still says "submitted." I took a photo of it but when I refreshed again, both applications have the "submitted" status. Is this a ghost update or a good sign?
I don't want to get my hopes up lol.

i have a question about ticket itinerary. Is it necessary to submit this? how to get ?

You have to submit an itinerary. Just explain in the letter what is your plan and attach a screenshot of your flight plan (Don't book the ticket before the TRV is issued, you can explain in the letter that due to uncertainty of flight schedule due to covid and also long processing time of visa's you aren't booking confirmed tickets, I did this).

Within 2 -3 days you will receive Biometrics Instruction letter

Hi, sorry if this has been discussed before but how should I proceed? Applied visitor visa in June 2020. Never received a response. Have submitted webforms as well. Never received any response.

Should I submit a new application or try to contact CIC again? My mom desperately wants to travel as its been a long time since we met.
