New Instructions from IRCC for applications before 7th Sep 2021

Hello, I reapplied for a trv under the circumstances that my situation has changed: change from maiden name to married name, a new job, travel dates changed.
Purpose is for immediate family reunification (spouse - citizen)
First trv application: March 2, 2021
Biometrics completed: March 5, 2021
Second application: September 18, 2021
I have included my UCI in the documents that I submitted in my second application. I updated all my documents including the passport (my name has changed to married name), financial documents, invitation letter (my travel dates have changed). With the second application, I've noticed that I have a different UCI (not the one that I mentioned - which was the one in my first application). I also noticed that the biometrics area is empty at the moment.
Just a few minutes ago, I received an email that there's an update in my 2nd application. I checked but nothing has changed.
Has anyone experienced this? I'm a bit confused and anxious.

Hi. I applied for TRV on 18 September thru GC key. Just few minutes I also got ghost email but no any changes in status of application. Even mine biometrics not updated yet.
Hello, no other reason other than I already have an account with gckey. I haven't read anything that says I should apply in the new portal. Please let me know if that's the case.
Received a ghost update today saying: "Your application status has changed". I logged in and checked, but nothing was changed. Is this normal?

Just am giving my parents visitor visa updates:
First Application 22nd July 2021.
Biometric Done in September 3rd 2021.
2nd application Submitted on September 9th 2021 with same GC account
Passport request 17th September.

Hello, my wife applied for a visitor visa back in May, it got rejected in last week of august. Now our situation has changed as we have already applied for her spousal sponsorship and wanted to give another try by applying for visitors visa again. Please suggest should I go with gckey or the new portal? Will it make any difference?
