New Instructions from IRCC for applications before 7th Sep 2021

Hi, I also applied for my sister's TRV, this is the timeline:
- First application submission via GCKey, Aug 7th, 2021
- Got information letter "Request for an Authorization for Exemption from Canadian Travel Restrictions for the Purpose of Family Reunification" that is in process, Aug 27th, 2021
- No status update on first application yet (Status is submission)
- No need to biometrics, she has valid biometrics record from her first visitor visa.
- Second application submission via IRCC new portal, Sep 29th, 2021
- No status update on second application yet (Status is submission)

Will keep you posted.

Congrats!!

I applied in the following order:

First application via gc key in Dec 2020
Biometrics done on 29 july 2021
2nd application via New portal 13th Sept 2021

Waiting for eligibility check and PPR. Till now no update

*Reason to file a visa: got married in May 2021 and want to visit my wife since we cant file spousal sponsorship due to 5 yr ban rule in place for 2nd marriage. I attached the old application details, a 20k CAD Bank statement, my marriage certificate & my spouse's PR card.

I dont know what's their criteria to pick up applications. I was under the impression that its day/date wise but I see people from 11th got it and now I see yours from 15th Sep. but somehow mine got lost or missed??? Someone please tell me if they know the process how they are picking applications.

Please let me know if I missed to attach anything? I am anxiously waiting for PPR since my wife's bday is near (in oct) and I mentioned in the new application that I am planning to travel on 1st oct.

Update: I have not received any reply from anyone on either of my application. Please share if anyone got PPR recently.

Seems like a problem in India VO. They are cherry-picking applications it seems.. People who applied as late as 23 sep got PPR but people like me are waiting..

for visitor Visa applied from India Processing time that its showing is 153 Days... Should we expect a reply wihtin 30 days as mentioned by site at the time of applying or we should go in sleep mode till 153 days????

this is ridiculous.. double payment made and waiting endlessly.

I think we only need to apply again if our status is changed and that thing is clearly mentioned on IRCC website . Just a concern .

Of course, almost everyone should apply;
Reasons; change in:
- Bank Statement amount
- Visit dates
Etc

In my second application i told them that I intend to come to Canada on 1st oct. which has already passed. If they are not interested in processing the applications then its best that we too sleep like them. When its about taking fee they are super active like PAY PAY PAY IT NOW!! and when it comes to processing the application its like .. Yea yea we know you have applied.. eventually you will get it .. sleep tight..

Iam really frustrated now.. not sure what can help get a response from them soon
