Hello! Congratulations on receiving the visa.
I reapplied for my mother supervisa on the new portal on Oct 8th and haven’t received anything. The old application didn’t get withdrawn either. It’s still sitting there and there was no confirmation of cancellation. I don’t know what to do. Should I reapply again?

For some reason lot of Oct applications are stuck. wait till Jan 1st week and take a call.

Which country did you apply from to Come to Canada? Some visa offices are super quick

I applied from India to come to Canada.

I applied through New ircc portal for vistior visa yesterday and paid for BIL online. How much days it will take to get BIL? Should we need to do anything to get BIL?

Hi, I applied on 21st Dec & got the Biometric Collection Letter the next day. Biometrics completed on 28th Dec. I guess nothing to be done other than waiting now

First Application: Feb 15,2021 on GC Key
Second Application: Sep 18, 2021 on GC Key

Third Application: Nov 4, 2021 on IRCC Portal

PPR received on third application on Dec 24, 2021. The first applications were withdrawn on Dec 19, 2021.

This application was for my mother. Please reach out if any other information is required from end. Happy to help!

I applied last year in 2020 September for TRV. I am done with my bio-metric on 30-July 2021. I am still waiting for anything to update further. I am not coming in any urgent category right now. What do you suggest ? What should I do? We have rescheduled our travel plan this year in May 2022. I haven't got any update on my TRV which was applied in September 2020. Is it helpful to reapply on IRCC portal if you are not falling under urgent category? Does that work? is there any IRCC contact which you can share to whom I can call from India? I raised 3 webform request , but I am getting an automated reply. Nothing else.

Sorry for the stupid question, I have just applied my parent's visitor visa using gckey ( As I wasn't aware of the new IRCC portal). Is it mandatory to submit any new visitor visa application using only the new IRCC portal?

Biometric Request: 23rd Nov 2020
Biometric done: 11th Aug 2021
2nd Application through IRCC Portal: 2nd Jan 2022
PPR/BVL - 10th Jan2022


My mom is in New Delhi, India. The BVL states that Ottawa sent the letter. PPR doesn't say who processed.
First application was through an agent (useless), 2nd I did by myself on the Portal.
I am a PR who will take Citizenship Oath in a week
