New Instructions from IRCC for applications before 7th Sep 2021

have a question my sister is planning to visit me I am permanent resident here in Canada . They ( her husband and daughter ) recently got their visitor visa they applied in July for get to gather.they are living in Italy. Fully vaccinated. Please someone can provide information . I have checked cic website but in Italy travel agents are saying they cannot travel as of now . Plz reply if anyone have any knowledge about this thanks

Hi, i resubmitted a new application on Sep 9th but did not get biometrics instructions yet, how long did it take for you to get it after your new application submission? When i first applied on Sep 4th, i got biometrics instructions just within 24hrs. I did not give my biometrics the first time yet. Will I get another biometrics instructions for the second application or as I did not give my biometrics for the first application yet, will I not get the biometric instructions one more time?

I have a question- i applied for my husband under spousal PR in September 2020 and we are still waiting for an update. Can anyone suggest if we should apply for visitor visa under this new ircc portal?

I have applied for my parent's visitor's visa on August 6, 2021. It's not that urgent for them to travel right away, we wanted to have a visitor visa on their passport if there is a need in the future to travel. We are planning to invite parents next year any time after March. So, do we still need to re-apply again?

No, if your parents do not intend to travel immediately, you do not have to apply again.

If yes, How to inform them about COVID-19 exemption?

*Biometrics done:23 June 2021
*Raised the first webform:17 July 2021;no reply after more than 1month
*Raised a second one:28 August 2021
*Resubmitted my application through IRCC portal and paid again 100CAD:9 September 2021
*While sending my new application,there was an update on the old one saying that my eligibility review started
*Still no further update

When you submit a new application, the older one gets withdrawn, that's what the ircc says. So much confusion around here.

I think it was a mistake they made since the next day they changed it to " if you submitted your application and you status didn't change you don't have to reapply"

I applied for SOWP in feb 2021.lots of doubt to reapply or wait.. Some are saying only tourist visa applications need to be reapplied.. Some are saying all visas..
