Hi Guys
Can you please tell me about new immigration policy for PR...

I heard that, it would be bit difficult and we should be in Canada on work permit/Student visa in order to apply for PR.

From now onwards, we can't apply through express entry from our homeland India/Pakistan?

That's not true. What is true however is that the government of Canada has outlined in it's budget that it intends to "streamline" the express entry program to meet Canada's labor market needs. Nobody knows yet what those reforms will be. I highly doubt that they would completely eliminate outland applicants. However, the next draws may be more specific to certain NOC's or competences. We can only hope and wait.
