a) don't care about it
b) ask for the updated form
c) return your application

Do you think there might be a third option? .. the reason why it is old is because I spent the last 6 months preparing that 1.5 kg stack of papers! lol
I do not have my client number yet so I don't think I can resend it now...(should I try anyways?)
Do you know if they check for all the forms at the start? It won't be that sad if they ask for it in two months.. but if they send it back in 2 years I will cry myself to death.

You will just have to be patient and wait what CIC chooses to do, Sometimes their choice is to continue with out requesting updated forms or returning apps. Just relax and try not to worry too much. They check all the forms at the 1st stage for completeness.

Always think on the best scenario and try not to worry since there's nothing you can do.
Cic is quite reasonable and they'll see that you sent your application when they just updated the form
Relax.

If your application was received and stamped before the update, you will be fine.

I addressed this on a different thread. My app was received by CIC on May 6 with the old form.

Unlike the previous update (February 2015), this update changes (adds wording) only the "disclosure" statement that appears at the very end of the application (after even the signature), and therefore has no bearing on how any of the questions would be answered, only how your information is stored (and i think shared).
I spoke with a seemingly competent agent from CIC who said it's unlikely CIC will return applications if this is the only change.

If it served a purpose to return and delay applications, then CIC will do so. Is it possible some/all applications get returned? Sure, but I wouldn't bet on too many (if any) being returned. But let's see what happens.
