New IME number after getting a Visa with the previous upfront medical exam being expired

Hey! Hope I can gain a bit of clearance on the IME number and the work permit topic here.

I've submitted a work permit application (LMIA) a year ago. A month ago it got approved and I got my Visa.

Right about the time I got my Visa, my upfront medical exam has expired. Having read the info that my medical has to be valid at the time of entering CA, I went to get my second medical.

The staff at the physicians panel told me that they can't neither update my previous upfront medical record as it has already expired and I have the VIsa now, so I can't do the upfront exam anymore nor create a new one because the previous expired record is still in the database.

They wrote to some medical agency that.. manages (?) the database. The reply was for me to get the new IME number. I've never heard of this procedure and I can't find any sufficient info on the topic.

I've requested the new IME number via the standard IRCC Web form but haven't heard from them for weeks.

Do you have any advice on what to do next?

Thanks in advance!

Hey

any information on this?
Hi!

I still don't have much information regarding how to properly handle the situation.

I took a new medical exam, which I was warned, won't be attached to the previous IME number, printed out all the evidence that I've already taken the first one and it's really me and just went with it. The medical staff told me that they will update IRCC with my new IME and I had an internet person reassure me that the border officer has means to find you in their DB in this situation.

So,

how did you get your emedicals repeated, can you guide me?

mnt visa is stamped but my medicals are expired, and I am not sure how to go about this, as the medical centre is asking for new IME number which I don’t have.
Please guide.

When I first went to a Panel Physician, they tried giving me the exam, but the system refused to neithr update my already expired exam nor create a new entry, so they asked me to get a new IME. I've waited for a month (maybe more) for IRCC to answer me back via email, but their automated (?) system kept replying with "your docs will be updated" to me, which.. wasn't what I needed. At that point, I went back to my Panel Physician and asked to give me the exam again, even if it's not linked to my previous IME and they did. That's it, I didn't do anything extra, other than went back and asked for my exam. Maybe the waiting time helped, something updated in the system.. Again, I haven't figured out what are the solution and the hows of this situation, but I've shared basically the whole process of me "getting a new IME"
