I personally think the safest course is to submit the result you were invited based on. Usually in these kind of processes(like express entry) they "freeze time" legally speaking, so if you for example aged a year after the invite or whatever, it is not taken into consideration. And you got the ITA based on that IELTS test which you had given them the grades AND the serial number for (if I am not mistaken, inside cic, you input the special code of said exam) so they are probably expecting to see THAT exam.
