New Guidelines : Police Certificate ( Only three months old acceptable)

Everyone :

Please notice the new requirement for Police Clearance Certificate. The application guide says we have to attach the pcc not older than 3 months while the document checklist is saying nothing for such requirement. What to do ? My PCC is five months old issued in November 2012.

Please comment on this situation.

This is not new, its every year same requirement

If u can get it, better.

If u can't get it immediately, attach. A cover letter explaining the difficulties in getting and assure to submit later

Yes definitely it will create problem for u

CIC is very clear in its instruction, its us who make it complicated

Giving u clear cut instruction ,still u r asking same question

Can't it be sent later after e getting a fresh one, I guess it is not one of those docs without which your app won't be acceptable for processing.

Yes, it can be submitted later. Same thing told, still people r crazy to ask repeatedly

If you want to slow down the process, than, sure, go ahead, send without PCC. If you want to have the application cleared in 1 go. Add everything. ALSO, the cap is very very low this time, who knows CIC rejects application on the basis that PCC was not attached, and give preference to the one that has sent. Right ?
