Anyone claimed 50 points who are on ICT and how documentations need to be be done in case of no specific letter (1 year after PR) from employer.

I have more than year of Canada experience with same employer and current WP valid till Feb 2018.

Please suggest if I can claim 50 or not.

Are we going to see a sub 470 score with this new change?
Hey, remember everything and anything is possible. And yes, I believe we shall. Since after the last draw, many provinces have issued nominations. Many, e.g. Saskatchewan, BC and NB. Thus people hit over 600. I believe when the provinces slow down, draw scores would drop

My CRS score is 418.

Please advise chances?

Please advise minimum threshold to get the PR in one year?

Please advise straight forward. I inferred, I have no chance.

With the recent change in scoring, no one knows where the draws will go in next six months so do not give up. Do all you can to improve IELTS in the meantime. Hang in and stay with us.

It makes 3 of us... I feel +ve... :)
If anyone working under ICT and got an offer letter from current employer...
Could you please share the format...

My manager arguing that i'm already employee and why would I need another offer letter...
Instead, they will give me a bonafide/experience letter which states my duties and designation.

Have you showed him a copy of the CIC requirements so he can understand the reason for the letter?

His argument is that they have already initiated my work permit extension which will be for another 24 months.
My manager asked me to convince CIC with the "Deputation letter" provided for this extension which says "We are please to depute you to our customer in Canada till 31-Dec-2018" Is this acceptable?

Note: I should appreciate my manager for a fact, when he does the "managerial talk/advice" it makes all sense and once you come out of the meeting room you realise WTF just happened...

I'm naive when it comes to this kind of argument...

Hence looking for support in the forum :'( :'( :'(

Hello friends,

Recently i read that Canada has removed four years cap system for temporary foreign workers, the four year cap system was for noc code with B , i am NOC code with A , initially it was 1 year gap after completing 5 years of working in Canada .

can you tell me the 5 year cap system for NOC A is also removed? or recent announcement is only applicable for NOC B.

Hi

The four-year rule did not apply to all foreign workers in Canada. Exemptions included workers in managerial (National Occupational Classification 0) and professional (NOC A) positions, workers in Canada under NAFTA, and workers with a provincial nomination certificate.

Please go through the link:

For all of you who are asking - you guys need an offer letter with the following:

A valid job offer has to be:

made by one employer
for continuous, paid, full-time work (at least 30 hours a week),
for work that is:
for at least one year after we issue your permanent resident visa
not seasonal
not on a contract basis, and
in a job that is Skill Type 0, or Skill Levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC)
