Hi, just wondering if anyone working in Canada for more than a year with a company specific work permit (LMIA exempt work permit) has received 50 points.

I updated the work section with new questions but the score was not updated ? Maybe by Monday

Please update if anyone in this situation has an update of points.

Hey Everyone,
As of now cic has not sent an email asking students to update their profiles, all international students pls login and update(i.e. answer the 3 questions asked) the education section. Once done, pls log out and login again this should update your overall score.

This worked for me. All the best to everyone

It's not required I hope.. application s asking whether u worked continuously for one year in Canada with the same work permit and with the same employer for full time

Hi, I don't understand your question clearly . But my current work permit is valid till Sept 2018. I am still in the pool with 412 points but hope to get 50 points with the changes made. Hoping for the best.

in the education i can't see the option of "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees" anymore.
in my ECA report i have two bachelor degree.
What to do now?

Quick questions for the people here,

I am inland Canadian Master Graduate, seeking an EE invitation.
I had been working in Company X since May 15 till October 16. I then, moved to Company Y.
Now, in Work Experience section, when asked for Job Offer, I should write about company Y or X ? Please note, I no longer work at company X.
Secondly, in work experience section, have mentioned both Company X as previous employer and Company Y as current.

I believe, I would be eligible getting 50 points (NOC code is of type A), correct ?

Yes, in terms that my closed work permit is valid till 14 Sept 2018. If you have a job offer then only WP is extended. I hope i got your question right. Lot of confusion right now regarding these 50 points.

mine is expiring on march 2017 and i m completing 4 years too.
Sitting on 460, whenever my turn comes something gets turn.

Well this is actually great . Yes i don't see it anymore. Maybe now they automated it by counting your added degrees. Saves a lot of guessing for future applicants.
