What about people who already have an AOR based on LMIA ? Will they be impacted with this new change ? Would the system allot 50 points to them instead of earlier 600 points ?

We keep missing what i think is a big change in the new scoring system - To get the 200 or 50 points no LMIA is needed. In essence outlanders can get an additional 50 pts with a valid job offer without needing an LMIA.
This in itself will change the attitude of recruiters to outlander recruitment and then job bank will become more active and useful!

clmusic said:Hmm, I am on an indeterminate LMIA exempt job (code C31, under R205), employer National Research Council. Looks like I will get 50 points to push my total to ~520. Now, hope the next cut-offs are not over 600 LOL
kryt0n said:No. Unless they have an lmia which is 50 points. Applicants with just a job offer never got any points.
