Friends please help..

I am internal transferred to here and having more than 1 year exp.
My project is getting over in December end, so I have to move back to my country.

Should I have to be in Canada to get extra points and what happen if I move back?

you will get extra points for 1 yr canadian experience, regardless of where you are when you apply... (you will probably need to apply in a different category however)

He's talking about the bonus points for "arranged employment", not the points you get for 1 year of experience (Canadian or other otherwise). You need to work for a year for the employer mentioned on a work permit (and currently be in Canada) to qualify for the bonus points.

Employer Name is mentioned on the WP.

MY concern is the new rule says, the work experience should be continuous as highlighted below.
Please suggest if my understanding is correct?

(iii) the foreign national holds a valid work permit issued under the circumstances described in paragraph 204(a) or (c) or section 205 of the Regulations, the offer is made by an employer who is specified on the work permit and the foreign national works for that employer and has accumulated at least one year of full-time work experience, or the equivalent in part-time work, over a continuous period of work for that employer;

Why is your work not continuous? Did you quit and rejoin? If you took a paid vacation\time off, your employment may still be continuous.

That's hugely important , warrants an entire section on this forum! And from the instructions seems there might be a draw tomorrow .

i'm 99.9% sure there will be a draw tomorrow... they have to clear out the guys who got nominations from the LMIA... it wont be fair otherwise to them

If you have employer specified work permit and work for him for at least 12 months and he will offer you an offer of employment, you could get 50 points, right?
I'm reading your posts and most of you are pretty sure that "offer of employment" equals LMIA. Bit LMIA is worth 50 pts as well. So, does it mean we are talking here about 50+50 or about written offer?

No, 50 points total.

If you have worked for him for 12 months and it is skilled work and he has offered you a continued position, you should be entitled to the 50 points.

"We can see our rankings in the pool"

Any idea how it will work? Will I see count of candidates who have higher score than myself?

Thanks

Just wait 4 more days...

Total work ex = 3 years
6 month internship + 2.5 year work. All for the same company.
The relieving letter mentions the duration of 2.5 years. However I do have the original letter of internship too.

Question: Do I get the 50 points for FWE or 25?

Afraid I know the answer but still would like to confirm.

Thanks.

I guess, that you might see that you are on position xxx to yyy (as there will be many people with the same score). The question is also how frequently will be this information updated.

I get it but what exactly means "his offer of continued position". If it's LMIA it doesn't make too much sense.
