Your points shouldn't change :)

Thanks for the Assurance buddy.

LMIA now will only help people who have point well over 400 and for one reason or another cannot get PNP. It's a very hard process with a very high rejection rate so unless someone is in 420 range i don't think it's worth it anymore.

Also time to say bye bye to chefs who could get PR with scores as low as 260!

Somebody correct me if Im wrong but the Skills Transferability Points are the same than before? no new changes. I try to compare them and are exacly similar. isn't it?

They are the same, they just worded it differently for people who have masters degrees.

i dont know. i think they will create a family support stream in every PNP. that will give sibling the additionals 600 points. they want everybody to go through PNP. only graduates got additional points. the rest of the FSW did not get get any points. to my understanding , they want the rest of us to go through a nomination and this might include siblings too.
We should inform this fiasco to the concerned MPs of different constituencies. The whole damn exercise was supposed to be done for siblings and they are nowhere. It's because we were not vocal and relying and trusting on government. This is really frustrating, and I still feel that the siblings and francophone should at least pass the message to the immigration department. We don't need any petition, we need to remind them that they have not done what they started with.

True; for those affected by siblings and French who are still in Canada, can they contact the respective MPs or asked their relatives to do so and please don't forget to mention French. Thanks in advance/Merci de l'avance.

Who is "we"? Are "we" Canadian citizens? No MP will care about what "we" have to say.
