Again, even if they want it, how many of them are going to take to the streets to protest... the government is apparantly committed to giving siblings more points. They likely will. I'm just saying it might not be this year.
Its not about vote, its about your promises. How did you open gate for refugees? You have made visa free country for Mexicans and given points to international students. Why not siblings now, why in future?

They cut back on refugees this year.

Also, how can you compare the two? Someone in desperate need of fleeing a war torn country, and a sister of a Canadian PR holder who lives a comfortable life in Germany. Who do you think gets the priority here?

As they need votes in 2019, there are a lot of canadian citizens who need to bring their brother or sister to canada, if the liberals skip this , how will they get elected in next election.?
I think they know that giving points for siblings in EE is not a wise thing. Because siblings are not economic immigrant its more of a family immigrant. So they will think according to it and make it adjusted in the family stream or open another stream for next years.

You seem not to be aware about the reforms. It is said "...committed to Siblings and French...and for international students and LMIA, it was said considering instead of using the word committed..." Did you read the slide? It is clear enough.

If sibling promise is not done this time, then there is no logic that it will start later. It will never happen in future.

"Committed" might mean more points. That's why they did not mention it with international students in the same notice gazette, else one group would say there is discrimination in not awarding the same bonus points.

And siblings are not immidieate relatives like. Spouse childerens parents etc. So it will not affect there votes. Because a resident will be more worried about his/her spouse childerens and parents rather than worried about siblings. And they have doubled parents quota from 5000 in 2015 to 10,000 in 2016 and again doubled it to 20,000 in 2017. These people whose parents are admitted under new govt will definately vote for them. And they are also reducing time for spouse re integration and spouse childerens quota is also increasing. So they are doing good in this regard

If they are going to do such stuff, they then will do it close to the future election. Whatever is popular and wanted (but lets say not that Money bringing) is done close to being re elected. Not popular steps are taken much sooner after elections.
For example effect on change of points for international students and mobilite Francophone, when chewed down properly, it will turn into people willing to have just additional 1 year of canadian studies and work after to cash 60 points.

French speakers are honestly only on agenada to appease Quebec (so that they wont feel to alone standing), but reality is such that in most areas outside (maybe save New Brunswick), French really does not matter for your life (this is reported by Francophones living in Canada).

Giving them any additional points in EE, would surge a vawe of critics of unequality of official languages.
What will be done instead are more like province oriented local French programms.

With this one important notice, I think we are done for this year (and maybe for a good half of next year).

A man has two daughters, one in Canada and another in Europe and you think that kind of relationship is not strong.

Then why McCallum said on Francophone Day last week that although the Mobilité Francophone was restored, but more will be done for Francophone by awarding more points under Express Entry (as mentioned in the slide, through parliament reports mentioning bilingual linguistic profile in Express Entry to be privileged) and they are working on it.

If its so why they want to make point for siblings in their Fostering family reunification program. ? Other countries like Australia has separate stream for family where family members can apply to join his/her family.

What are you talking about. 90% Canadian PR will not worry about the changes in EE or bonus points for siblings which will make his/her sibling get into canada easily by giving them bonus points The people who are worried here are siblings of a person who is living in canada. They all are outsiders that is worried and want more points their sibling in canada is not worrying about his/her brother or sister. A canadian PR will worry about his/her spouse childerens parents etc which will affect the govt not about sibling. And intl students case are different because they live in canada they are physically present there they can put pressure on govt to allot them bonus points through universities and all. But if a canadian PR is not worried about his/her brother or sister than why govt should be worried. As an outsider you cant put pressure on govt.

If they decide to invite all siblings, where does it stop? A sibling could then bring their entire family. Then a spouse of the newly PR'd sibling will have PR and they could then invite THEIR siblings...

They are committed to giving more points, I'm sure, but I think it needs more thinking through...

There is family stream for children. this example is not what we are talking about.

But you can see easily these days having sister or Brother living somewhere else and not knowing much about him her, apart of sporadic meeting on New Year or other big celebration.

Yes in some families these ties are strong in others they are not.
