I'm pretty confused, not going to lie... but it's basically spaced it all out a bit more? Hmmmm... so the points will come into force on 19th... i think I need a new calculator.

Where does it say November 19th? Are they gonna announce it at a Saturday? I dont think so.

Yep, too many things to read. I've saved the current CRS Calculator on the CIC website, let's wait for the tool to be updated. It will be easier to compare.

I am super excited to read this although this means that the CRS points might go up for the next few draws if the ITAs are around 2000 (+- 200).

Finally getting to break through the <450 threshold *phew*

VERY INTERESTING...

(c) for the purpose of the Comprehensive Ranking System referred to in section 8, including to determine
(i) the rank of the foreign national relative to other foreign nationals, and
(ii) whether the foreign national occupies the rank required in order to be issued an invitation;

I am super excited to read this although this means that the CRS points might go up for the next few draws if the ITAs are around 2000 (+- 200).

Finally getting to break through the <450 threshold *phew*

But the 440's could become the new 380s... not sure until we all recalculate

8. (1) The determination as to whether a foreign national who is included in the express entry pool of candidates occupies the rank required in order to be issued an invitation under paragraph 10.2(1)(b) of the Act is to be made using the total number of points assigned to the foreign national based on the information provided in their expression of interest and using the Comprehensive Ranking System that consists of the following components:

(a) core human capital factors;
(b) accompanying spouse or common-law partner factors;
(c) skill transferability factors; and
(d) factors relating to a provincial nomination or a qualifying offer of arranged employment.

6 An invitation is valid for the period of time beginning on the day after it is issued by the Minister and ending on the 90th day after that day, and any application for a permanent resident visa in response to that invitation must be made within that period.

Wow, it would be very interesting. I propose from now on, we will refer each other by the rankings only... New social classes will be formed...
