New EE Profile

Hi Guys.. I made my profile in late august this year and got pnp nomination from ontario at CRS 402. However, I thought of achieving CLB9 in IELTS to increse my score and opted not to accept the PNP hoping that I would get CLB9 as last time I missed by 0.5 in writing. Now this time I missed by 0.5 in listening but I scored better in others and my CRS increased to 411.

Now I have again booked IELTS in January but looking at the current CRS trend I do not expect that it fall below 450 before March next year. This is my guess only. My worry is if I do not score CLB9 in this attempt also then I would be stuck at 411 and I dont think CRS will fall this much next year. I am thinking to create a new profile hoping that I would again get OINP as I am above 400 and then accept it. I just wanted to have some advice on this. Please help.

Yes, withdrawing and creating a new profile might get you PT from OINP.
Good luck with IELTS. I myself did it 3x b4 getting CLB9

Why did you refuse the PNP in the first place? As mentioned already, you can create a new profile and get an invite again.

No. You have not made any application by creating EE profile.

Nads1.. I got PNP from Ontario after 2 days of creating my profile. It was 1st week of September.

As for the IELTS - deffinitely try again. If you were so close to getting CLB 9 the previous time, you should deffinitely give it a try.
I dont know where you are from but I am sure there are people around you are specialized in this kind of exam. I barely did 7 the first time I took the IELTS. then went to 4 lessons with a certified teacher who does SPECIFICALLY Ielts courses and then got 8 (perfectly separated between the modules to get me a CLB9).

had 6.5 my first 2 attempts..with Simon's help and some extra study, moved to 7.5

Is ontario giving nominations now because recently i read a post where someone mentioned that they have stopped nominating from time being.. Is it the right time to create the profile now or shall I wait?? Please suggest guys..

Dont go by what someone says without facts. Lately ontario has been raining nominations, so better saddle up your horse and get that PT before they actually run out of stock.

Hi Nads1.. sorry I did not read your reply properly.. you asked me why did I refuse the OINP interest earlier. Please see my reply below.

When I created my EE profile, I did not show any experience for the recent five years i.e. Sep'2010-Aug'2015.. My principal occupation was 1313 with 2 years of experience (Jul'2008-Aug'2010. NOC B) and secondary occupation was 1312 with 1 year of experience (May'2007-Jul'2008. NOC B). When I received OINP from Ontario, I checked the eligibility criteria for Human Capital Stream which clearly stated that minimum one year of experience in NOC 0, A, or B is required in the last 5 years from the date of application whereas I did not show any experience in my EE profile for the last 5 years. Someone suggested me on this portal to check with Ontario because it seems that an incorrect invite was send to me. When I sent them an email, Ontario replied that it is possible for system to send an incorrect invite and therefore responsibility lies with the individual to ensure that eligibility criteria is met. As a result, I decided not to accept the interest. Also, I was hopeful that I would score CLB9 which will increase my CRS from 402 to 453. I had experience in one of the NOC B categories in the last 5 years but I opted not to show it because I was not sure that my employer will give me a detailed employment letter.

Now my question to people on this portal is does Ontario keep a track of invitations they have sent passport wise. There might be a scenario that I recreate a profile (showing 1 year of experience in last 5 years) hoping that I would again get nomination from Ontario but if they keep a passport wise track then what happens? They would know from their records that we sent interest to Passport No. xyz earlier which was not accepted. Will they consider my case as duplicate or is it the case that Passport No. has nothing to do with the invites they send to people.

Please advice me on this.

This point just came to my mind and to certain extent I think they will keep a passport no. wise track as passport number is unique to ensure no duplicates.. But anyways let us keep our hopes high and lets be positive.. all the best.. let me know if you get the invite again.
