Well, I've called CIC many times - they flatly reply that my file is trf to NDVO & CIC cannot access any info in NDVO
And also I've submitted many specific webform to NDVO & recd NO reply from them since Dec-19
Is it possible for you to give me your consultant contact info - I can ask him independently - & also pay what his fee is to contact NDVO
You can ask for Huda Safeer there and tell her Himani referred you.

I called Huda and informed her that Rosy will call you, hope this works for you. All the best !!
Thanks a lot Himani
My husband just spoke to Huda.
She said - the only way to contact NDVO is thru webform, so we submitted another webform today.
Let's see when do they reply to that.

follow me on twitter, I want to respectfully and lawfully voice my experience and opinion on sponsoring my spouse from India, 1 year is too long.

anyone can explain to me how work permits, visitor visa, student visa and express entry is 4 weeks or less and spouse is 1 year? how, they have to complete criminal, medical and biometric checks. I don't understand how Trudeau or any one thinks that I can have a marriage via facetime/video calling for 1 year or longer.

Important information for approved permanent residence applicants currently outside Canada

This email is for you if:

  • you are outside of Canada
  • your application for permanent residence (PR) was approved and
  • you have a confirmation of permanent residence (CoPR)
If you are already in Canada, please disregard this message; it does not apply to you. If you are a representative, please inform your clients who fit the above description.

Congratulations again on having been selected to immigrate to Canada. We look forward to welcoming you. Unfortunately, the response to the global pandemic is forcing travel restrictions and delays in plans for many. We want to ensure you are aware of restrictions in place in Canada at this time.

On March 20, 2020, the Government of Canada provided updates on exemptions to travel restrictions in place to stop the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health and safety of Canadians.

But isn't India in lockdown? And now they have extended the lockdown till May 17th.

Passport offices are closed till May 17th as well, so I doubt NDVO is also open.
