Hi All,

My employer told me that some one from the CIC called today. He wanted to speak with me. Since I was not in office as I am out of town, the guy told him that I am not there. He asked when will he come, he said he is not in town. He said ok, whats his designation, he told him my designation thats it. He said ok I will probably try calling tomorrow. Now I am not in town so what to do and what do you think of the call. What will it result in ?

Hi Rocky, it is exciting to know that they started working on your case. Hopefully, there will be some progress in my case aswell. Fingers crossed

No problem even if you could not talk to them. Since your assistant confirmed the job designation you donot need to worry. If they still want to talk to you they will surely contact you today. It is perfectly OK if somebody is out of station as part of job.

BTW, did they also confirm your job duties with your assistant?

Hi Rocky

The call was made to find out to find the first level information about your designation, period of work etc. There is nothing to get alarmed here, because its a routine process. I dont think you will get a second call from them. Relax, you file will move to the next stage.

Thanks
Madhava
I hope so too and hope next stage is Medicals and PPR request

Well it was the office assistant who picked up the phone and he said I am not in office and all and the CIC person just asked what is his designation and he told him thats it he just said I will call tomorrow but he never did. He never confirmed anything else. I just hope brother that its a positive move and the guy who called was satisfied.

Hi well I am a regular MBA but have an international degree which is not approved by AICTE so I am not considering it. If Sikkim Manipal is approved by AICTE then you will get the points.

The Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology was established in 1997 as a constituent college of Sikkim Manipal University and is approved by UGC and AICTE. You will get the points for your masters provided your masters course is also approved which you would know.

Thanks Rockey

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

We are pleased to acknowledge that our office has received original passport for this application.

Due to the high volume of correspondence received by this office, it generally takes several days following receipt to process passports and place them on file. The file is then directed to the attention of a processing team, where it may take several more days for a final review to take place to ensure all requirements have met for visa issuance.

This file is currently pending final review by the responsible processing team and a decision by the officer. As soon as the review has taken place, our office will contact the applicants in case any further documentation or information is required. If the officer is satisfied all requirements have been met, visas will be issued, following which we will return the passports to the applicant by registered mail. Kindly note that it can take several days for registered mail to reach its destination.

Please be advised that all statutory requirements must be met before we can issue visas. We therefore cannot provide you with a precise date by which this application will be finalized and the passports returned. Your continued patience is appreciated. We can assure you that we give the highest processing priority to cases which are ready for visa issuance for which passports have been submitted. Until we contact the applicant, either to request additional documents or information or to return the passports, we will not be able to respond to further enquiries.
