Why not attend the seminar conducted for the new immigrants at New delhi.. U might have received the application form along with your medicals and passposrt request... I am gonna try out the same.. as I feel it will be helpful to us to have an advice from experts and can also meet other people whose timelines are almost similar to us...

by god's grace i received visa today...

but i have a confusion.. many members here say that they got maple sticker visa...

but mine is a big sticker with a small maple silver hologram...

my visa is same or different in any respect.....

Hahaha, yes that small maple silver hologram is the one. It is the right one. Check the details and the visa category should be IMMIGRANT. Congratulation.

Yes I know many challenges. But what is life without a challenge. I plan to go in the Month of May 2010, Toronto.

by god's grace i received visa today...

but i have a confusion.. many members here say that they got maple sticker visa...

Check the category that matters the most. Look out for the words "Immigrant Visa."

also, I wanted to know if we can ask for any specific dates from CIIP? and is it a full day session or of a few hours?

actually i dont have much knowledge abt any city. somebody told me that its better to move not in any big metro city.
one more thing i want to know that after how much time we can call our parents temporarily or permanently & what s the procedure for that. should i do any formality right from here?
anybody has any idea?

i have sent my medicals and ppts on 24th of feb 2010, i could not get e-cas status , can anyone help me how long it will take to get back passport n y my status is not updating since the file transfer to delhi.

I plan to goto Toronto. Well I know Toronto has jobs but exactly do not know in which field but I feel it is like Mumbai of India so it should have jobs. Well parents can come temporary on Tourist Visa after you land but their PR would and can take 4 - 5 years.

Do you mean that you are not able to check your online e-cas status ? If so then try checking it 3 - 4 times more and make sure you are entering the correct information and hope no CAPS Key is on. If all correct then send a case specific inquiry to them asking for status update on your case and that you ecas is not working.

Until March 2011, as then you will be filling your tax returns so only after you file your tax returns. I know I also would like to file my parents papers but can only do it after March 2011.
