Did the hospital send results through e-medical or regular post?

Confirm with consulate that they have received test results.

my time line
applied on 29th Aug
rejection on 16th Sept
reason- insufficient fund i had 33,000$ in account
less family tie and no travel history

THEY DON'T WISH TO GIVE VISA................. NO OTHER REASON

I'm really sorry to hear that. Did you apply online ?

Can you please tell whether you received medical request? Also, how long was the duration of stay?

Also, Did you write in the cover letter that you'll return to your home country before visa is expired?

I called up the hospital and they had sent the medicals via post. How do I confirm with consulate ? do they have any telephone number ? I sent two emails asking them to approve, yet no response !!!

The hospital messed my friends medical test results. He had to take the medicals again, just in time (you must take medicals within 2 months). Also, ask the hospital that there was no negative remarks on your test results.

Did you try this number - 91 (11) 4178-2000 ? There is an option called operator, but I'm not sure whether you'll be able to reach someone who can provide you a confirmation.

Hi All,
I have couple of questions about spouse sponsorship, please clarify....

I am living and working in Canada ( PR holder, applied citizenship), I am planning to get married in India and want to sponsor my wife after my wedding.
My Questions:
1.I want to send sponsorship application first and then apply visitor visa, so what are the chances her to get visitor visa?

2. what is the current processing time at delhi consulate( spouse sponsorship)?

Thanks in advance!!!!

You'll find many cases in this forum similar to yours. As I have read in the forum, it is a difficult to convince the visa officer that your wife will return to India after her approved stay (remember that temporary resident visa is issued with assumption that applicant will return to home country - becoming PR etc is all secondary and is dependent on the actual PR application).

However, if you can show strong ties to home country, enough fund for travel and stay, visa officer will issue her visa.

As for timelines, outland is fast.. It is ~8 months, but varies case by case.

All the best !

Hey eds !!!

Congrats !!!!

I want to ask u something .. will the processing time and other proceedure be same when primary applicant ( ie Me ) is on student visa .. i just landed in canada last month and going to apply for my wife's TRV in the begining of Oct 2013

Kindly advc

Thanks.

I assume your student visa took a while. Trv however will take less time. Procedure is to apply for trv attaching your study permit with your spouse application. Also, your marriage certificate, photos etc should be attached. Don't forget to attach an invite letter giving details of approx date of arrival and departure, source of funds etc.

All the best
