im waiting for since 17 jan... i came from Edmonton Alberta to submit only passport ((

. hi , i can understand ur situation .. v came fm london . but hw cm sm ppl who submittd in feb n even march got dere visas?? altho it depends on case to case but still they shd pick files acc. to recevd date. ( feeling frustated ...but lets nt loose hope .. i wish every1 waiting shd get it this week..

Under Canada's immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status. In this context, certain background investigations are being conducted in connection with your application. As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case.

For now, there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the checks are completed the next steps in this application will be determined. Until then, we will not be able to provide any additional information on this case.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

My FTH is nil and my rprf was encashed in 14th december, 2010. Still it is in process :-\

Already ordered CAIPS/GCMS notes last month.....jst waiting for that anxiously.

i applied under FSW for canada under 6242 cab. i send my file 6 june 2011, and they received on 14 june2011.after that pre issue on 12 aug2011,
ecas status is' in process' on 8 dec2011. they call my employer on 15 dec 2011. till date i did not heard any thing new delhi high comiction. can any one plz tell me why they taking that much time ..... i am waiting for my medical.

it was halted probably for fund shortage.

nothing to do except waiting. make sure you get any letter/request of additional documents if sent from CIC.

He friends i just c2hecked with bank today and they told me that My RPRF got encashed 16 MAY 2012 so just waiting for Visa what you guys recon when will i get passport back a million dollars question........GOD BLESS ALL

could you please explain how the draft thing works.. in my case i sent the bank draft to my representative (campbell cohen office). they have issues the money i sent as a draft to ndvo. my deadline for the draft to reach ndvo is june 16th. the police clearance certificate , medical receipt along with draft was sent on 22nd may by campbel cohen office and reached ndvo on 26th which is last saturday. does it mean they have recieved the draft and there ends the process of recieving rprf ? or is there anything else from the bank to be made?and best of luck for u to get your passports.. these days it takes 2 -4 months

hi bro can check from bank that our RPRF (DD)got encashed so i done that and my bank confirmed that my dd got encashed so you can also check with your bank.......GOD BLESS ALL

I'm sick and tired of this wait..Since December 2011, I've been waiting for my passports..Hmmmm..

Now, because I am in a foreign land with my family, I feel very insecure not having my passport with me. Will it affect my chances if I ask for our passports back and then whenever NDVO is ready to issue the visa, I can resubmit..Has anyone done this?
