We too are landing in Vancouver, wife has a job offer. Will be finding a temp. accommodation in Burnaby most probably...

Today my status changed to Medical results have been received.
I received my RPRF on 12th Sept.
What does this status indicates? how long after this change I should be expecting my PP ?

Hi Everybody,

My ecas status was "in process" right from the beginning. I had sent my PPs on June 1st 2011. Medicals were sent in May 2nd week. So my status was like this so far.

We received your application for permanent residence on December 2, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 2, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 2, 2011.

Today I see an additional line in my ecas.

Medical results have been received. I am confused after such a long period they have just received my medicals? Will it take long long time for my DM? Anybody can tell me what this means please. And what more updates should I expect before DM is made.

Congrats! You may get your DM by coming tuesday and pps hopefully after that.

You can inform cic by writing a letter/fax with full address of your new employer alongwith contact no. This may help you.
