Hi Ankit/nsukan/all,

Thanks for starting and handling this thread in an excellent manner. I am watching this thread from long but never posted something, because feel very small in terms of knowledge in front of u.

Small background that I got my 2nd AOR ON 3RD FEB 2011 DATED 20TH JAN. AND I AM HOPING TO GET MEDICAL REQUEST IN 2-3 MONTHS.

Need some advices on below concerns :--

(1) My wife is expecting baby in the month of May. So do we need to inform them if they send medical before delivery or if it comes after delivery then how we can add baby on the list ?

After delivery , Write a letter , attach fees (150$ for the new born) , prepare passport and sent its photocopy .
(2) Might be my co. tell me to travel to USA in the coming months. In those cases how i will manage for medicals and Passport submission ?
You can complete your medicals outside India . You have to come back for submission of passport or send it through a friend/relative to India. **IT IS ILLEAGAL TO SEND INDIAN PASSPORT IN/OUT OF INDIA THROUGH POSTAL SERVICE.Will feel great if u could guide me on these concerns.

Thanks a lot.

Thanks Thommo,

You are also planning to depart in April. Which city u have opted? Can i send PM to u to explore conditions in CA about job, accomodation, weather etc. If u have already decided then advice from u will be helpful for me and otherwise we can be helpful to each other.

Congratulations. Best wishes for settling down nicely in your dreamland.
It is good to see some activity on part of CHC after a long gap. The wait after submitting passports is too depressing. I pray for all others to get their visas soon.

Thanks a lot. But can we delay the process of passport submission after medical ? IS there any process(Just for my knowledge) ?

CHC is very strict regarding deadlines .

You are given 45 days from the date of letter to submitt medicals and PPt .

I will be obliged to share my experience with people and always seek advice from others for better opportunities. please send PM and if possible also ur number so that we can have better understanding about Canada.

@leoismyname: Congrats for getting the VISA

@stev: I was thinking to opt for vancouver over toronto and question from singh092120 has changed my decision.

@singh092120: destination written in my landing papers is Toronoto. I never specified any destination while putting application. May be my consultant has done so. It means i have to land in Toronto only?

Yes brother ...but CHC is strict about deadlines only when it comes to us when it comes to themselves ......they take their sweet time...

Send an email to CHC, ND, giving reason for delay in passport submission. If ur reason is convincing enough they would agree to it.

Ok thanks a lot.

Hi Vicky,

Vancouver is definitely the best place to live in. But as a IT professional, it is being advised by many ppl to go to Toronto as most of IT related jobs are there. I hope you find a great job in your profession and have a wonderful life.

Keep us updated.

Best wishes !!!
